This series is the accumulation of some very special elements. First off the unique Widelux F7 panoramic 35mm camera, thanks to this amazing camera I was able to get these incredibly wide images. Second, Kodak’s discontinued 35mm Ektachrome Infrared Film. This film is very hard to come by and is extremely sensitive to shoot with. It has a dynamic range of 1 stop and must be loaded and unloaded in complete darkness. On top of that it has to be processed and developed by hand in complete darkness. Third, the special proprietary Widelux yellow filter. To achieve the infrared look you have to use a yellow filter with this film, as it blocks out the color spectrum. The final element, Disneyland and me. I have had the amazing opportunity to live and go to Disneyland my whole life. I grew up there, I have an infinite amount of memories there involving my friends and family. I wanted to capture a place that was so familiar to me in the most unfamiliar way. I hope you enjoy.
