Digital 35mm photography Statement: I pushed my digital camera to its ISO sensitivity limits to reach a unifying aesthetic for the mimicking breakdown of a mental memory visual experience. The series of anonymous subjects is inspired from the contemporary studies related to the growing pathological loss of cognitive and memorial abilities connected with the massive utilization of modern technologies and their impact on our sensory system. While evoking feeling of perceptive losses, the essential aesthetic of the project refers to the need of a new authentic unveiling approach to reality and its objects in relation to the projections of our desire. The photographs compose an ensemble of unstable signifiers, an oneiric sequence of symbols of reminiscence lingering between echoes of premonitory urges, association and dissociation.
