This story is made up of ordinary moments which happened at various times and places, predominantly in a city setting. It is a story that did not take place but was painted by lights, shadows and moments in time.
It is a story about people, another variation of the everlasting questions, who are we? What is our path and why? Questions without answers.
Figures, actors captured in the milisecond of the open aperture, seemingly lonely their motives and destinations hidden, nevertheless somewhere in the background human fellowship can be found, something everyone experiences.
It is not my intention to capture what happened but the later. The grey area of what might have happened gives space for interpretation by the spectator. For me, it is a game of the obvious and the hidden. My goal for my work is to evoke unintelligible emtions, hazy memories, deja-vu, a sense of thrill but also fellowship.
A photograph isn't a documentation, albeit it's reflection of reality. It is more like a trigger of your own interpretation, your path to yourself.
I believe that in the end, this series is a humanistic expression of fellowship, a path to seek oneself.
