Submission

I am drawn to early morning light, and especially to the mysteries that fog can bring to an image. However, for this submission I have also tried to include images that hint at the "culture" of the places where they were made. I was born in the hills of eastern Kentucky, but spent twelve years in Lexington, Kentucky attending college and working. Then I returned to the area of my youth for twenty-six years, and only recently returned to central Kentucky. Although in the same state, the two areas are very different in almost every way. The picture from Erice, Sicily is a different matter, taken while on vacation there. It is an almost surreal fantasy that came to life before my eyes.
