Last Eagle Hunter

Mr. Shaimurat who was born from a Eagle Hunters Family and started hunting with Eagle at the age of 30. He was also three times Champion of Eagle Hunters Festival. Being a winner of the festival is so respected and honored one among the locals. There are an estimated 250 eagle hunters reamaining in Bayan-Ölgii, which is located in the Altai Mountains of western Mongolian. They maintain ancient practice of hunting with golden eagles on horseback, and they primarily hunt red foxes and corsac foxes
