I was in Sudan because I was in charge of digitizing and archiving Sudan's national archive of photography's entire collection of photographs. Which had been completely damaged by weather conditions and time since they had no concept archiving.
This body of work is from the days when I lived in Sudan. The portraits each represent a body of photographs in its own category from several trips I made in the area. My background is art school therefore my investigations are a line between the aesthetic but also with a story behind the photographs. These specific photographs are special to my portfolio since taking Photographs in Sudan its forbidden.
