Life in Havana

My interest in Havana is two-fold; as a photographer, I'm drawn to the deterioration of the architecture in the city for its aesthetic value. At the same time, I have empathy for the people of Havana as they cope with perpetual poverty due to their political circumstance. I find myself wanting to document moments in their day-to-day lives and the resilience and dignity they demonstrate against all odds.
