'Imagined landscapes' came about during a period of thought around photography as a practice. This project became the result of combining different photographic tools, both analogue and digital, to make a new series of digital images. It reflected my continuing drive both to understand and convey my experiences with image making, as well as an active interest in abstraction and surrealist approaches to visual art at that time. The resulting images may be interpreted in many ways, from representations of the vast to the microscopic, to the fantasy of a place that does not exist.
