For the first time ever, from 2008 more than half of world’s population lives in urban areas. 80% of European citizens lives in cities and maintain a distant relationship with nature. Most of us unknown some of the quotidian links between the natural environment and the human.
This is a work about the dialogue between human and nature, between people and their surroundings. An attempt to explore how the environment determines individual identity and how people conditions the environment at the same time.
It is a portrait from a rural community at Ariege, one of the most uninhabited regions of France, through the portrait of its inhabitants and his environment. Both are portrayed as one, the same thing.
