Journey to Anoyo

Anoyo in Japanese refers to the world that the soul enters after the living this world. In the north of Japanese island Honshu in Aomori prefecture, there is a place called Osoresan, one of the most mysterious and feared places. It is believed that this is where the souls go to travel to Anoyo. For that reason, friends and families of those that passed, travel there, to be together. To the beach of sulphuric lake in a crater of active volcano. It is believed that offering objects that the dead person liked, will make their existence in afterlife much happier. They would leave on the beach flowers, sweets, cans of beer and even burning cigarettes in hope that they can enjoy it even though they're not here.
