Observations on the road

These photographs were captured during my journey to northern Greece, where I travelled to familiarise myself with the environment that used to be inhabited by my ancestors. This led me to discover a village in a mountainous area of northern Greece, where my grandmother was born. Documented in places that I passed through, the photographs serve as small remnants of the journey, exploring the often forgotten rural areas of the Republic of North Macedonia and Greece.
