It's a project based on the research of family photographic collections, identifying situations that have long passed through the individual's imaginary and imaginative universe. These situations become part of his own past and significant reference for the present and future. Images of moments not lived, but deeply assimilated in the trajectory of this person through years of coexistence, contemplation. Such appropriation is based on an extra-factual reading of the family photos and on the emotional reports of the ancestors who starred or witnessed the scenes. The emotional charge is so intense that the person misses what, in reality, he did not live. But it's not just about looking at the past. On the contrary: how does this repertoire affect the present and the future of these individuals?
In a recreation of the past moment, the current 'character' of each family is photographed so that his image is perfectly incorporated into the old photos.
I intend to rescue an imaginary and dialogical process with the past, a link that is gradually lost in the daily lives of each generation.
It's a work in progress. Here, I present photos of my own family.
The survey is being carried out with approximately 15 families
