This current surge of Black Lives Matter Protests has changed the way I look at photography. It went from a being tool to retain my own memories and transformed it into a powerful key that can present truth and story to anyone willing to look. These photographs speak of the peace and innocence of civilians who want to be simply treated fairly by the one entity paid to protect their lives.
