Collaborating during the pandemic

During the covid-19 pandemic, health teams had to deal directly with the new coronavirus and patients who got the disease. In a short period of time, they had to adapt and take care of contaminated patients. Fear was a great stress factor in the beginning. Many health workers decided to live by themselves and abdicated their families to avoid contaminating them. In the hospital wards soon health teams were finding a way to bond even more than usual to transpass the pandemic difficulties, such as massive use of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), distance with patients and teammates and watching many patients dying alone. Those images show the strength of these people.
