Portrait Submissions

I work across a range of enduring themes and engage in projects in which I occasionally use myself as the subject matter. The presented images are a good reflection of the direction of my work. They are more about a state of mind and how I engage with life rather than literal representations. I have a fine art background and try to create painterly images using available light. I use a variety of equipment from a Bridge Camera to a DSLR and regularly use a pinhole lens and other low tech plastic lenses as well as other art lens systems. I like to dumb down the digital technology to create softer more subtle images often using long exposures.
