Submission

The submitted photos are part of my West Africa project in which I traveled overland from St. Louis, Senegal down the west coast of Africa to Cape Town, South Africa. My intention was to record the daily life of the African people showing that we are bound by common threads, all having a need for family, community, and education. It was in the villages and in the larger towns that I saw the resilience of the African people and their pride in being African.
