Photography in the time of pandemic. With limits on travel, public access to people places and things, I revisited old and new shots and wanted to create a series that juxtaposed a space or location or environment in a combination of naturalism and artifice through collage. These were expressions of isolation and frustration at times, but they are also hopeful in ways. A strange, odd grandeur and hope of future landscapes to photograph. Home is complicated for me. Born in Cuba, exposed to the midwest state of mind, then transitory time in Montana, Southern California, Boston, Northern California.
