This last year has taken away all of the little pleasures that we cherrish and hold inside us to take us through turmoil. There is something magical when your body enters the sea. The upthrust of the sea's salt water creates a feeling of weightlessness, as though there is not a care in the world. For me, the return to the sea was my driving force of what felt like an endless winter. These photos present some of mine and my loved ones happier moments of a very sinister year. This summer's return to the sea was a baptism, a fresh start, a promise of better days ahead.
