Our lady of the Sacred Heart Convent.

Abandoned for the last thirty years this convent school for boys is being redeveloped into a upmarket retirement village. An important piece of history in my local community was about to be bulldozed. I was fortunate enough to be able to capture the last fleeting moments of of spaces that held incredible hardship and painful memories for the young pupils. Many of whom I have met since starting this project. There is both beauty and ghosts in each image.
