Survivor

I have faced a lot of challenges in my life. I experienced a revolution that made the whole country upside-down when I was 7 and war between Iran and Iraq when I was a teenager; As a woman in my 20s, I face many inequities and limitations. In my 30s, I experienced immigration. The concepts of Survivor and a peaceful place are in many of my works. I'm a wabi-sabi person; I love simplicity, humility, and living in tune with nature. After the long winter, I found a couple of dry leaves and seeds in my backyard; I was fascinated by the shape of the leaves; perfectly imperfect! That's how this Survivor project started. It shows the natural cycle of growth and decay, life and death.
