This pandemic has been portrait already in mulitple ways.
I am fortunate to live in the South West of France, where one could make the most of empty beaches to socially distance oneself and enjoy the space. During the winter months people would take their lunchtime snacks and sit on the beach and clear their minds of the worries about work and relatives that they couldn't visit.
I wanted to show how different it was here at the time. We think of the beaches in this area as the crowded spaces we know during the summer, but the winter months are quiet and peaceful and a real haven to charge your batteries, even if it is just for an hour at lunchtime.
