Reverie

Although frames here are presented here as independent works, they are all part of a phonebook to be published in early 2022 in Brazil, called [Quimera], which builds the grounds around childhood explorations, discoveries, fears and anxieties and its relations with the surroundings, big and small, its textures and shadows. The images talk to the awe moments we find in the ordinary experiences of everyday life, hardly recognizing whether we are dreaming or awake, eyes half open... the images alone create the ambiance for the viewer to project their own creations, imagining what lies between the elements most of the time lacking precision to limit themselves to a single meaning, just as we would want a first experience to always lead us to - like a child looking at soap bubbles and truly believing they could be starts flying back to the sky...
