A group of street photographs taken in different times and places, albeit they all share the same element: all their colours removed to present a human family without their identity. Colours can be helpful in providing identities to humans or even to things around us, but they also bear negative aspects: labelling us and singling us out to be identified. In an ideal world, this may be a privilege. However, in today’s world where some of us wish to tag people to know how to abuse them. This series of photograph, which is part of a bigger project, show that how art can show our real quality and beauty at a very basic level. From here, we realise that if we build the colours to individuals or, in other words, giving identity to humans, we can build a more colourful and prosperous world.
Ones we have stripped down a photograph to the basics, we humans are all the same. It would be hard to tell what our background, race, nationality, ethnicity or even gender are.
