BLUE SMOKE ANGEL

This image created at the end of 2020 resonates with the conflict that took place in the Kalbajar region between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The metaphor of the Armenian paper burning on this stone representing the notion of territory, appeals to the sense of the invisible to escape this chaos. It pays bears the memory and pays tribute to the Armenian people who suffered from the invasion of their territory. Some of them preferred to burn their houses rather than give them up to the occupiers. This image attempts to convey a message of peace and freedom, in the midst of the burning of spirits.
