Hotel Tourist | Here and everywhere

"The real journey of discovery does not consist in looking for new landscapes, but in having new eyes. ” Marcel Proust This project presents the breadth of my travel-related work bringing together images produced over more than 3 decades, illustrating both my artistic journey and my personal approach to photography and travelling. The fruit of a long, structured and coherent process, this work often relates to travel. And without being one of those globetrotters who regularly set off to conquer other places and continents, I like to prove that one hardly needs to go far to discover new horizons. Large parts of this project were been published in "Hotel Tourist" (Edition Le Cric, 2020) and shown at Art and History Museum Murten "Here | Dort - Ici | Là-bas" in 2020.
