‘Canary Wharf after dark’ is a project by photographer Ed Walker which explores the intersection between the unique architecture, light and people that inhabit this city within a city.
Once home to container ships and tenements, Canary Wharf has been transformed into one of London’s most sought-after financial districts. The juxtaposition of money and history makes this corner of Tower Hamlets shimmer with creative inspiration for photographers and artists.
Now, it is home to some of the world’s richest companies and exclusive residential properties and when combined with the exclusive occupants and the beautiful lighting that bathes the entire area, it’s the perfect setting for low-light photography.
