Ants

As an insect photographer, ants are my absolute favourite subject to observe and photograph. In the last five years, I have been photographing numerous species of ants, a project culminating with the release of my first book titled ANTS: Workers of the world published by Abrams in New York. My search for new and exciting ant species to photograph will continue for as long as I can, as out of more than 12,000 ant species out there, I only managed to photograph just over 100. Wish me luck!
