The Five Element Collection

In the process of reaching an internal balance, my project of the 5 elements is manifested in 2018. A certain element inspires me, I photograph it and that image is handwoven and transformed into object art, that rug or tapestry is taken from the original element and transformed back into a new image from where it came but now loaded with intention, collaboration and interconnection. FIRE - Ignites, it is necessary to transform, it burns old unnecessary and creates new beginnings, new versions of ourselves. WATER - Flows, cleanses, nourishes and renews. EARTH - Connects to the origin. It represents stability, centeredness and safety. AIR - Purifies, elevates, makes everything move, and gives space for opening and possibility. SPACE - The more subtle of all but the one that contains and embraces all elements. Our connection to our soul, our Divinity Essentially, this is full circle project. Where I photograph an Element, hand weave the Art object, and bring it back to its original state or location.
