Bag

If you are traveling alone are you alone? That is the question I asked myself on a trip to Europe. I decided to treat myself to this trip abroad as a gift to myself for graduating from the University of Connecticut. The countries I visited were Austria, Switzerland, and Sicily. My bag was my constant companion and a stand-in for me at various sites and places. I am interested in inanimate objects viewed as living beings. For this project, I wanted to focus on Bag as my friend and traveling companion. He would pose for photographs in front of historic sites and with people that we meet along the way.
