As a foreigner living in Dresden, I photographed not officially the construction work in the Blockhaus/Archiv der Avantgarden. When I saw the message "You should try to understand me because I am the future/Because I am" on its facade, I was sure of the transformative role of this institution in Dresden, along with the changes symbolized by so many foreign presences arriving.
