The ephemeral "flat monument", or "counter-monument", brings artistic concepts of Indigenous and African matrix, as it was merged in Brazil. If compared to traditional European monuments, of "eternal materials" such as bronze, it is a monument without the imposition of fixed truths, but rather a celebration and acceptance of our biological transitoriness.
