I have my grandfather's eyes

'I have my grandfather's eyes' is an ongoing exploration of family history and genealogy. It's a meditation on how family memories (real or imagined), genetics, and the randomness of history forms my identity, how I see myself, and the life that I live today. By using projections of family photos and family documents to light self-portraits, I am interacting with moments and people who may or may not help to illuminate who I am today.
