Woven together, these images form a narrative of my travel to Iceland at the beginning of 2020 and my escape to Alaska at the end of the same year. I’m being suspended in a narrative that I’m constantly renewing, like a speck of dust roaming under the ever-changing sunlight. At the same time, I was constantly looking for any hints or remnant imprints of the “aura” among every molecule surrounding me, the “aura” that was believed to be lost by Walter Benjamin. The exploration of the dimensionality and multiplicity of simple existences of things, either organic or artificial, is intertwined with this narrative. Functionality is one dimension while attachment is another. Visualizing this attachment or even just the possibility of any emotional attachment to new objects is my way of finding an ‘aura.’
