Geogmetries

For this project, I use the camera’s ability to focus, reframe, and capture lightness and darkness, form and shape to tell a story about the interconnectedness of people, places, and things in the world’s built and natural environments. Observed in, but extracted from, their original contexts these images, taken in different counties take on a meaning beyond themselves and across geographies, taking the viewer to a place of peace and contemplation; both part of, and apart from, their own locale.
