I was on the SOS HUMANITY 1 ship in the Mediterranean in June and July and was able to photograph a documentary about the man-made problem. I was able to meet people full of courage and drive, who survived meter-high waves with cm-thin metal boats and for days without water and food. Their experiences are no longer unique, but subject to structural conditions - especially in Tunisia and Libya. But their emotions are unique and should be made visible worldwide. That's why I would like to present you my images.
