AROE's primary purpose while shooting 35mm is to confront, frame to frame, the ludicrous resistance toward attempting the creation of art itself. He supposes that is the primary concern of other artists too, to create whatever it is to them that appears in process or approach the thing that is slightly more than an arm's throw away, the thing that will require the actual effort.
