Certain images rely on the "extraordinary", the over-the-top aspect of their rendering in order to make themselves heard.
Rather than filming the obvious, the already known, I tried to explore the void, the "in-between" moments and the magic of light itself. I left out the grandiose and majestic statements for a more discreet, more modest world.
I have searched for some urban fragments, neglected areas and visible traces that elude staging. I compiled them into a series called "Urban Memories / Underlooked Places".
I don't look for pre-existing stories or obscure secrets within these photos, but rather innocent traces, guidelines and guardrails of the world in which I inhabit, anonymous and ignored fragments of realities by the wayside, and the unique stories that emerge from the unnoticed corners of our world.
