Little Big Worlds

In this series of photos taken on La Gomera in the Canary Islands in 2023, the camera’s ability to focus and reframe, and to capture depth, light, form and shape, tells a story about the interconnectedness of people, places, and things in our built and natural environments. Here women, mosses, grasses, rocks, water, and fabrics take on meanings beyond themselves and across geographies, taking the viewer to a place of joy, and fear, rendering them a part or, and apart from their own positionality.
