For some, the human body remains a taboo subject, eliciting feelings of embarrassment or fear, whether it's our own bodies or others. To connect with and express our sensuality towards the body, we often resort to analogies in nature, associating it with something familiar. One such entity is flowers.
I discovered flowers through which I could articulate human sensuality through associations. However, to make these associations more direct, I isolated them from their surroundings and removed their natural colors. Then, I added red to intensify the sensuality of the flower forms and bring them closer to human bodies.
In doing so, I created 'bodies' that are diverse and alluring, allowing them to be observed without fear or inhibition. Through the, one can explore their own bodily experience and the bodies of others.
