Monument[s] (2018-2023) 2023

Miniature parks are often understood as part of Industrial Culture. However, I tried to move these elements towards multilayered significations by providing a new context in this photographic project. For this propose, I first of all photographed the replica of some of the most iconic architectural buildings in the history of Iran in favorite distance and angel and transferred them to a new background of my own photograph. Then, with using 3D software and pixel by pixel manipulating, I tried to bring this simple scene to the realm of nature and gave the models a realistic and alive effect. My priority in this five-year laborious journey was a non-historical dialogue with history and transmuting historical experience into historical imagination in contemporary space.
