The Desire of Memory

This particular project consists of a series of photographs, which attempt to explore the boundaries between the past and the future, memory and oblivion. Memories that, no matter how much they fade, never fade. They remain indelibly etched in our subconscious, just like our childhood experiences. Black and white photos, color memories. Flipping through family albums, I wonder if photography helps preserve memory and avoid the flood of oblivion. It is an exploration of the relationship of human memory and forgetting with photography. Photographing the old houses, which always exert a charm on me, I think that they also have many memories, that even if you scratch their surface a little, dreamlike images can be revealed to you. Through photo compositions and with the technique of long exposure, multiple and double exposure, light painting and with digital processing of the photos, the old black and white photos are reborn and take on life, light and color.
