Homes on Wheels

Editing pictures I took in 2015 trailer park just 90 miles south of Manhattan, I realized that these places really have two sides to them, which I tried to convey with the use of black and white in color photographs. While for many, living in a metal box on wheels would be considered unthinkable, embarrassing social decline, I found many such homes with immaculately tended gardens and colorful decorations that conveyed a strong pride of ownership to me.
