My Mother's Eye

I've been meaning to take a workshop on how to write an artist's statement, but somehow, I never seem to get around to it. I know what lights my bulb visually, but unless you can see through my eyes or walk in my shoes, I can’t imagine how to put my thoughts into words that are sufficiently metaphorical to be relatable. I regard photography as an enhanced encapsulation of the world that exists as well as the worlds I fashion with light, framing, and the limitless possibilities of computer software that offers me opportunities to suggest to you, the reader, how I feel.
