A portrait exhibition of people who cultivate allotments on Källby hill in Lund. Photographs were exhibited in public places where people could view them and reflect on the decisions of politicians and developers. The project started on summer of 2022 as a part of the action group "Bevara Källby Natur” aimed to stop a construction company from exploiting 180 allotments and farming plots. The goal of the project was to make close portraits of growers who, through their expression and gaze, look directly into the viewer's mind and soul. The viewers should ideally be emotionally moved by the beauty of the people portrayed and at the same time reflect on the threat that could occur to their allotments and crops.Twelve framed portraits measuring 70x70 cm formed the framework for the exhibition. The exhibition was hung on the wall outside of the Lund’s Konsthall on 21 August 2022 as part of a protest action. During the week of 28 August to 5 September, the exhibition was displayed outside on the common house in the Klostertäppan allotment.
