Portraits

My portraits are inspired by the personalities of the people I meet and the places they live. Spontaneity and humor are essential. Each photo can give rise to a mini-fiction. The lighting is often minimalist, enought to "enlight" the subject and to question the viewer: where do we stand between theatricality and the reality of the characters. Where do I stand, as a photographer? Is that a part of my own reflection? what part of myself is in this image?
