Joseph Kony LRA - South Sudan

Joseph Kony chief of the Lord’s Resistance Army and his child soldiers continue to spread terror in the south of Sudan and in north Uganda and east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the LRA allegedly killed 200,000 persons and describes this war as the most ignored since 20 years. Kony has been accused by government entities of ordering the abduction of children to become child soldiers and sex slaves (66,000 children became soldiers). Kony was indicted for war crimes and crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands, in 2005 but has evaded capture. Link: https://www.icc-cpi.int/uganda/kony
