Forgotten Airport

Cyprus Former International Airport of Nicosia. The airport has been closed down in 1974 due to the heavy fighting between Greek and Turkish forces in the Cyprus conflict. Since then the abandoned airport is widely in decay and has become a fascinating relict of the past and a symbol of the Cypriotic division.
