This series arose from a dead plant in my kitchen. I brought it to my studio with the idea of "playing" with a long exposure and light. It was fun, but somewhat lifeless :) So I bought flowers from the local florist and tried out different things.
Over the course of two weeks on weekends, I came up with and tried out various flowers and setups, resulting in this series.
The photos are straight out of the camera. In some cases, I only adjusted the exposure afterward, but otherwise, I haven't changed anything, not even the colors, which are as they came out of the camera.
I am curious about your opinion, positive criticism is always welcome, as I can only learn from it and it challenges me to keep practicing.
Normally, I prefer taking photos of people, preferably one-on-one. But from time to time, when I don't have a model at hand, I search for objects that say something (see also other examples on https://gerbeno.nl/prints).
