«Traveling for working, and working for traveling» “Wandertage" is a present journey through a past dimension and way of life. Few old-fashioned young craftsmen and women, still live according to the German medieval tradition of the Wanderschaft, traveling free and adventurously while improving skills in their crats. Wandergesellen are a closed group keeping alive handed-down rituals and rules, sharing the aura given by their garb and by the ancient tradition they embody. Without address nor belongings, but their small bundle, they walk through woods and villages or hitch-hike around Europe and beyond, enjoying their freedom. „Wandertage“ is about a unique, romantic way of experiencing travel and work in our world today.
