I found these four women captivating. When you look around and see how men travel in public, it's quite different from women. Women seem to be invisible, yet their eyes are constantly scanning their surroundings. Here are the reasons these four women caught my eye; In Women on the tube #4, the two sitting next to each other are complete strangers, and when the one woman fell asleep and sunk down to rest on the arm of the other woman, there was no protest, in fact there was an unspoken intimacy that the woman on her phone just let the other woman rest. The woman on the phone kept watch as the other woman slept. The other two women are cautiously looking around, hyper aware of their surroundings. Yes, women navigate public spaces very differently from men.
